Description

Hydrogen is a single substance formed by hydrogen element, with chemical formula H2 and molecular weight of 2.01588. Under normal temperature and pressure, hydrogen is a colorless, tasteless, odorless, non-toxic, highly flammable and insoluble gas in water. The density of hydrogen is 0.089g/L (101.325kpa, 0°C), which is about 1/14 of air, and is the lowest density gas known.

‌Energy Field

Hydrogen fuel cells are devices that convert chemical energy directly into electrical energy, with the advantages of high efficiency, cleanliness, and quietness. Hydrogen fuel cells are widely used in transportation, distributed power generation and other fields. For example, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles can achieve zero emissions and have a long driving range, which is one of the important directions for the development of future automobiles.

 

Chip Manufacturing

During the chip manufacturing process, hydrogen is used as a reducing agent and protective gas. Hydrogen has important applications in chemical vapor deposition (CVD), annealing process, etching process, cleaning process, passivation process and hydrogen atom injection.

 

‌Petrochemical Industry

Hydrogen is used for hydrogenation treatment in the process of oil refining, which can remove impurities such as sulfur, nitrogen, and oxygen in oil and improve the quality of oil products.

‌Metallurgical Industry

Hydrogen can be used as a reducing agent to reduce metal oxides and extract metals. For example, in the smelting process of metals such as tungsten and molybdenum, hydrogen can reduce their oxides to metal elements.
