Description:
Monosilane, also known as tetrahydrosilane, has a chemical formula of SiH4 and is a type of silane. The structure of monosilane is similar to that of methane, and is a regular tetrahedron. It is a colorless, flammable, toxic gas with a strong odor. It is easily ignited in the air, reacts with oxidants, is highly toxic after inhalation, and is highly irritating to the skin, eyes, and mucous membranes.

Semiconductor
Silane is applied to the polysilicon layer on silicon wafers when manufacturing semiconductors and sealants.
TFT-LCD Industry
The image is vivid and bright, and it consumes less energy than cathode ray tubes.
Amorphous Silicon Solar Cells
Amorphous silicon solar cells generally use stainless steel sheets or glass as substrates. Under glow discharge, silane gas grows a layer of amorphous silicon (also known as amorphous silicon) on the surface of stainless steel or glass, forming the original plate of amorphous silicon solar cells.
